Entertainment
Restaurants, bars and nightlife.
The island of Lanzarote has a great selection of cafes, bars and restaurants in all of its holiday resorts. Should you be looking for a good Paella, a nice bowl of Pasta or some Chinese food it is possible to find all of these cuisines and more. We have put together a number of establishments that have a good reputation for what they offer. This will be a combination of style, location, service and above all good value. We hope this is of some help.
Restaurante Tipico Espanol. Avenida Papagayo, 33, Playa Blanca, Lanzarote.
Good quality typical Spanish food. This restaurant has a varied menu with great steaks, good quality meat and fish dishes. Daily fresh Tapas and good value prices. A couple of streets back but worth hunting out.
Manea Chill-Out terrace bar.
Great location with fantastic views from the terrace, chill out music and perfect cocktails. The service is top class, very relaxed and great atmosphere.
Cafe Aroma. Avenida Papagayo, Playa Blanca, Lanzarote.
Great day time coffee shop/snack bar. Just minutes to the beach so good to get out of the sun for a short break or take back to the sunbed. Cakes, snacks and great fresh filled baguettes. well run and good value.
Jumbo Chinese restaurant. Avda Maritima, Playa Blanca, Lanzarote.
If you feel the need for something different during your stay in Playa Blanca this could be a good choice. Good quality Chinese food and great value.
All your normal favorite's from the a la cart menu or try the per head set menu which represents particularly good value. Fairly priced wine menu.
La Chanlantia Avda Maritima 73, Playa Blanca, Lanzarote.
This restaurant doesn't look so good from the seafront entrance but once you go upstairs with its lovely terrace you will be glad you've gone in. As for the food. Great steaks, suckling pig and baby lamb are all specialities of the house. [ some of these dishes have to be ordered in advance ]
La Cocina de Colacho. Calle La Destiladera | Castillo de Aguila, 35580 Playa Blanca.
Varied menu with plenty of choice, the food looks and tastes great. Very attractive restaurant with attentive staff, higher end prices.
Tipico canario. Avenida Maritima, 36, Playa Blanca, Lanzarote.
Varied menu offering both fish and meat dishes. Nice location and good for all the family as offers some simple grilled options. Mid price range.
Luna Rossa. La Mulata, Playa Blanca,Lanzarote.
Real Italian food here in Playa Blanca. Great risotto's, pastas and delicious fish and meat main courses. The desserts are just as good. Great views and sensible prices all add to the attraction of this restaurant
Enjoy your stay.
Nightlife.
Playa Blanca and Costa Tequise are more laid back and chilled-out resorts. They both offer a good selection of cafes and a number of bars that can get quite lively during high season. However if your looking for some serious night time action then the resort of Puerto Del Carmen is a good option. Here there are a large number of music bars and a number of clubs/discos that go on into the small hours. However as Lanzarote is a relatively small island you are never too far away from the action or complete peace and quiet.
